2013 Trends: Tiger Print

As much as I love leopard, I think that 2013 is going to be the year of the tiger...

  10. I worry that trends like these, which for the most part promote the use of faux furs, still create more demand for a VERY endangered species... worth thinking about.

    1. Good point. I'd like to go on record as saying that if you buy endangered animal fur (or any fur for that matter) consider yourself an asshole. And before some fur-lover tries to call me out- yes, my home is completely vegan.

  12. Just featured Le Tigre on my own blog... must be in the air!

Did you know Laura Bush loved the print so much she famously lavished it all over a White House directoire sofa & chair, much to the chagrin of her MIL? Her one personal note in an otherwise staid decor.

I like to think this shot of her smiling while posed on it is a little "rebel, rebel!" And to think Elle Decor sniffed all over her "poor taste" at the time... they've certainly changed their tune now. Bush Tiger Settee pic
