In which case, I am not a blog post lately.
Oh and the big announcement? Nevermind about that. We found an awesome house, it was a good deal (even if it was at the max of our budget), offer accepted... then the inspector said the pipes were this kind that had been banned in 80s because they are defective (even though the house was built in the 90s...) and the tar paper on the roof will need to be replaced soon. Total estimate for both of those: $20K.
so...just kidding.
Then I was in bed all day yesterday with some kind of stomach virus which left me completely drained today.
And I just got the news that my grandpa is in the hospital.
jesus take the wheel.

Oh honey! I feel for you! I've been through similar situations--- minus the house buying, but definitely feel your pain! I hope you get better soon and I'll be thinking of your grandpa. Just keep breathing and things will work out the way they're meant to. You'll find a bigger and better house, and everything will turn around! Promise.

ReplyDeleteAwe MAN! I'm sorry. That sucks a big fat one. I have a house inspection tonight... triple crossing my fingers, holding my breath and sprinkling magic fairy dust in hopes he doesn't find equally bad $$$ problems. Hoping an even better house comes along for you and you g-dad is ok. xo
