Canopy Daybeds

Is this not the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?...
Sold on 1st Dibs for the price of a used car. I went hunting around the internet and found this one, also sold for about $4000.

sigh. Found a bunch of other awesome canopied daybeds I surely can't afford in my search...

Muriel Brandolini's raspberry-colored fretwork stunner.

  1. Why yes, yes that is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen... tied off with the tone on tone textiles. The bamboo might be out, but I'm thinking you could probably work up a painted fretwork repro with a little DIY action.

  5. I saw one once at a furniture auction and didn't bid on it because I didn't "need" it. Still annoyed at myself. This is why I need a store.

  6. GORGEOUS. I want it. It has SO MUCH MORE functionality than a used car. At least in my world. :)

  10. Oooohhhh I love that blue one! Definitely a great find, although ex-pen-sivveee. I bet you could do a DIY version, albeit more modern than those cane/bamboo ones. I still love the idea. Love love.

    Much Love,

Just kidding. But at that price, maybe not...
