These pictures are from the bedroom (and garden) of Chloe Sevigny's East Village apartment which hit the market back in March for $1.7 million. She bought the place seven years ago and said her first move was to cover the exposed brick and paint in pastels. She then enlisted the help of designer and antique shop owner, David Cafiero, who said he was influenced by the "beaten-down-WASP-late-sixties-look," which you can see more of in the
rest of the apartment.
love all of the pink and red in her living room. that red desk caught my eye.
ReplyDeleteI think she is great and have loved every movie I have seen her in. She deserves much more mainstream success but I guess her non-mainstream style is what makes her so cool.
ReplyDeleteWhat awesome photos! I love her eclectic style!
ReplyDeleteHey Jess, how are you? Hope super fine! Loved this apartment's vibe, it's too pink-cool! I'm hosting a giveaway partnering up with Camp Beverly Hills. Will you like to participate? Have a lovely day! Xo
ReplyDeleteMs. Sevigny certainly has righteous taste. Thanks for sharing these pics. Now, I'm wondering if I should try to pose like her in the second pic??
ReplyDeletePink and red, one of my favorite combos. She's got killer style.
ReplyDeleteShe is so interesting! It's like I can't quite figure her out. I'm going to check out more of this place bc it looks really cool.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely fantastic. I probably never would have seen it if you hadn't posted it, so a BIG thank you! Most of all, I want to steal her art collection! It is pretty much what I would have imagined her place to look like - great photography too. Definitely captures her spirit.
ReplyDeletelove the apartment...especially the little couch in the first photo....love the size so intimate
ReplyDeleteGreat apartment. Went to Kravets showroom and it was all dressed up in pink. Loving it!

ReplyDeletePink walls give such a warm glow. Love it.
ReplyDeleteIs it me or does she have three of the exact same shaped vanity table?!
ReplyDeleteHer apartment made her more interesting! That’s one thing that I wanted to achieve in my legaspi village apartment . To get an impression of being “interesting.”
