We like to keep it low-key around here on Valentine's Day. My husband stopped by this morning after the gym with a pair of white orchids. He says I'm impossible to buy gifts for because I don't like getting roses (they're just going to die in a few days anyway) and any jewelry I like I've already bought for myself (short of a Chanel J12 watch.) But I absolutely love these orchids in my thrift store clam shell punchbowl. Nice job, hubster.
Those are beautiful! Love the orchids and such a great switch up from roses. Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteoh, he did do a good job! enjoy the day - loving your wall back there, too!

We keep Valentine's Day low-key, but we celebrate the day before because that is our engagement anniversary. :) It's so nice to be surprised with flowers!

Such gorgeous flowers! I'm the same way, I normally end up purchasing the things I want for myself, but the orchids were a really lovely gesture. Enjoy your Valentine's Day!

Nice job indeed.
ReplyDeleteps- I absolutely love your wall treatment. As a newer blog follower, I think I'm going to need to click on some of your older links and get all the dirt!
Nice job indeed! There really is nothing more lovely than an orchid. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day doll!!
Your wall came out so nicely! I saw the post when it was in the making, did I miss an 'after' post? If not, please please can we have one?
ReplyDeleteClever hubster with the orchid if you don't fancy roses. He could have gone so wrong with a lot of ugly houseplants so you did really well! As did he!
